For our subsidiary GMA Garnet (Europe) GmbH we are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Blast Abrasives for the earliest possible start date.

Due to the high demand and positive development in the European market, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our team. 

Your Tasks

  • Business development for the whole of Europe in close collaboration with the Department Manager.
    • Represent GMA Garnet (Europe) GmbH in forums, conferences, and exhibitions across Europe.
    • Provide training for current, new and potential partners and distributors.
    • Develop new business opportunities for GMA’s wide range of blast abrasives.
  • You are responsible for customer acquisition and customer service in parts of Europe (BeNelux):
    • Provide on-site technical services.
    • Organise blast comparison tests and present GMA products for several industries.
    • Conduct price negotiations, project and annual planning with the customers.
  • Responsible for the sales, turnover and revenue in parts of Europe (BeNeLux).
    • Identify important and relevant regional specifications and manage the technical approvals of GMA products.
    • Build and manage a network of partners, distributors, and industry professionals. 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to drive regional marketing strategies and implementation according to individual market requirements.
  • You report to the Department Manager Blast Abrasives.


Your Profile

  • You have experience in sales and business development
  • You have good English language skills. (additional languages are welcome)
  • Highly motivated to travel across Europe
  • Strong technical understanding or interest
  • Previous experience in corrosion protection / surface preparation is an added advantage.
